"Sewn at home in the office, in the office at home.  Fabric gathered from the past - pants from the iggy archive and a personal archive, cut into pieces and layered to make the patchwork on these jeans.  Bobbin thread color, top stitch thread color, stitch patterns, additive, reductive, layered from the top, revealed from the back - all different refurbishing techniques are employed to create the resulting aesthetic.  Things go in circles.  I made pants as a child and patchwork paintings as a young adult.  Here I am, somewhere older and quite young again.  Patchwork pants.  Thanks for the support." - Jack Greer
